Subject: Thank You

Hello.
My name is Bronawyn O'Leary and I was the crazy runner on bus 1 going to the NYC marathon on Sunday that had to “pee” so bad. I just wanted to drop a line and say thank you for the wonderful time I had on Sunday from the bus ride to the accommodations after the race. My biggest thanks to the smart one who thought to give me directions back to the church…..I would have never found you!!! Again thanks and I hope you are available next year …..maybe I will have another PB run (3:10).

Thanks-

Bronawyn

To all the folks at Bosco’s Buddies –

I can’t thank you enough for the fantastic experience you provided on Sunday – I would give your operation an A+! You delivered me and my spectator to all the right places in good time, with good cheer – I would use your service again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to fellow marathoners for next year.

Thanks again –
Brenda Conlan

George,

Thanks. This was the third year that Fran Libasci and I took the bus. It all went very well. It's always a good feeling to get to the comfort of the church after the marathon and then have a hassle free ride back to NJ.

We plan on joining you again next year and, hopefully, for many years after that.

Dear George,

Although I did not run the marathon, I accompanied a runner on the bus and want to congratulate you on a great experience. The buses left on time, dropped the runners off as close as possible and then took us to the Church. The food served after the run was complete was just right for the runners. We left on the first bus and got back at a reasonable time. The atmosphere on the bus was very friendly. It felt good to donate to a good cause. Thank you for making it possible. Blair Stambaugh

The marathon was fabulous!!! It was a life changing experience....The weather was great, the marines were great, the crowd was great. I couldn't have asked for a better first marathon(maybe a better time..hahahaha). However, it was great running for bosco's buddies. I am thinking about doing the nj full, but I need to go to the knee doctor first.

Bosco's Buddies 2007 NYC Marathon Busing

Good day Mr. George Boscarino!

I would like to thank you and your organization as well for making my FIRST marathon a pleasant experience. I was stressing so much about how to get to and from the marathon before I joined your NYC bus. As it turned out, I had such a great time getting on the bus at the Crawford VFW, listening to all the stories from my other "bus mates", and of course the warm welcome that I received when I arrived at the St. Paul church.

Thank you and I hope to get the opportunity to be on the 2008 NYC Marathon bus!

best regards,
Ronnie Isidro

George: You guys were great. This was Jim's first NY marathon and it all couldn't have gone better. He said the massage really helped him recover much quicker as did the hot cup of noodles! Thanks again. Colleen

George,
I want to thank you and everyone who provided the transporation and logistcal support. It took the concern about getting to and from the race out of the equation.

I am not sure I will run NY again but I will certainly recommend your bus to anyone who does.

Thanks again,

George:

Hi George. My name is Nick Cartegna and I was the one who called your cell phone about 5:15pm last night when I was standing in front of St. Paul's church thinking you might have left me behind in NYC as I saw no buses in front.

I would like to thank you and all others involved for a tremendously well planned and well orchestrated event. The post race gathering was an added bonus that I wasn't even aware of at the time I signed on. Preparing to run the NYC Marathon, as you well know, takes a great deal of planning and using this bus transportation removed one less obstacle in my mind. I commend you on your efforts to fight Hepatitis C.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated.

Hi George,

I did not make the marathon this year because of an injury I received three weeks ago. I'm glad to have contributed to your cause anyway, and I'm planning to try again next year. And for sure, I'll be signing up again to use your bus service.

=========================================

I've known George for the better part of 15 years. As a devoted Mercedes-Benz salesman, my family and I have gotten to know him rather well through his day job. But through his sincere character, honesty and devoted ways, he's become like family. He's a great friend and outright good person. We were all deeply concerned when we learned of his disease. But George is a fighter. It's been an inspiration to watch him battle, cope with and educate about the Hepatitis C disease. George is not taking anything lying down. If it weren't for people like George, the world would know a lot less about this "silent killer." George, thank you for making me aware. All the best!

Sincerely,
Randall L. Kress

I have known George Boscarino for about eight years, six of which I have been his personal trainer. If it weren't for George, I would not have known just how serious the Hepatitis epidemic is! He has educated me about his illness as I have educated him about exercise and his body! It is amazing to me that there is not more of a sense of urgency to promote awareness of Hepatitis (especially B and C). We lose anywhere from 5,000 to 8,000 people each year for each disease. Currently, there are vaccines for A and B, but none for C. Hepatitis B and C can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer and eventually to liver failure!

I couldn't be more proud of George "Bosco" Boscarino for his determination and drive to promote awareness and get people (like me) to stand up, take notice and do something about it! Thank you George, for opening my eyes...

Love and Friendship,
